Do you qualify for an Oviva referral?
- BMI of 30 or above
- At least one of: high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnoea, or heart disease
If you're unsure whether you have any of these conditions, your GP or pharmacist can check.
Bariatric surgery
For patients who meet strict NHS eligibility criteria and have tried other approaches, GPs at Abbamoor can support a referral for weight loss surgery on the NHS. This involves a 12–18 month pre-operative assessment period.
