Rainham Foodbank: ‘More Than Food’ Support Programme Launches

At Abbamoor, we recognise that staying healthy goes far beyond medical appointments—it also depends on having access to nutritious food, social connection, and community support.
We are pleased to highlight that Rainham Foodbank has introduced their new ‘More than Food’ programme. In addition to emergency food parcels, they now offer a wide variety of free, community-based services aimed at improving wellbeing, independence, and personal opportunities for local residents.
All sessions are completely free of charge, and individuals can pick and choose the specific support that best fits their needs.
What Support Is Available?
- Positive Mental Health & Wellbeing: Group support sessions providing practical coping tools for emotional resilience.
- Healthy Eating & Nutrition: Interactive, practical workshops led by an experienced nutrition specialist.
- Friday Hub Social Club: A warm, friendly environment designed to help you connect with others and reduce feelings of isolation.
